Career Services

Career Services is directed by Melissa Espinoza, a member of DCN’s Executive Committee. With over 15 years of experience in Higher Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management emphasizing in Leadership, Melissa dedicates her professional efforts to keep abreast of current employment trends, to establish and maintain business community relationships and to ensure the timely placement of DCN graduates.

Career Services documents the successful passing of the NCLEX RN licensure exam and job outcomes per cohort. Graduate surveys are also collected 6 months post-graduation. The department prepares reports of outcomes as required for regulatory or accreditation purposes, assists with new student orientation, graduation and student activities. By collaborating with Student Services, Career Services supports co-curricular activities for students and conducts in-house career fairs and external community health fairs.
