In order to complete the application process for our programs, we require students to confirm that they have carefully read and understand all of detailed information on required prerequisites, fees, and application deadlines. If you have not already done so, please visit our Application Procedures page to learn what is involved the process of applying for Denver College of Nursing Programs.

You must confirm all three to begin the application process.

  • I have read and understand all procedures required to apply for DCN programs.

  • I have the necessary documentation ready to submit.

  • I understand a non-refundable fee of $100 is required to complete this application.

  1. Review all application deadlines and start dates.
  2. Upon saving your application, a password will be emailed to you, which will permit you to resume your application. Once your application has been submitted, it will no longer be available to view or edit.
  3. Save and resume your application at any time.
  4. Complete the application on a desktop or laptop computer.
  5. Proof of enrollment in any outstanding prerequisites must be submitted at the time of application. All prerequisites must be completed by the start date but can be in progress at the time of application.
  6. For BSN Completion:
    1. Submit from November 15 through January 1 for the following July start
    2. Submit from February 15 through April 1 for the following October start
    3. Submit from May 15 through July 1 for the following January start
    4. Submit from August 15 through October 1 for the following April start
  7. For ADN:
    1. Submit from March 1 through June 1 for the following October start
    2. Submit from September 1 through December 1 for the following April start
  8. Notification Process for BSN Completion and ADN Program
    All applicants will be notified either by USPS or email (Note: Make sure your email will allow any email from a denvercollegeofnursing.edu address) approximately six weeks after the closing date of the application deadline. Applicants that are chosen to continue the application process must set up a future appointment within ten days of being contacted by DCN with their assigned Admission Representative. Applicants that are chosen to continue the application process are not automatically accepted into the program. Applicants must meet all application requirements (successful passing score on entrance examination etc.) before being accepted. Entrance testing (for those without a prior bachelor’s degree) will take place after the applicants interview.
    Note: Background checks and Immunization records DO NOT have to be included in the initial application package. Deadlines for these items will be discussed with an admission representative during the chosen applicants’ interview.

  9. For RN to BSN or MSN: 
    Applications are accepted through the year. There are four term starts per year. Terms begin the first week of January, April, July and October. All applications and enrollment packets must be complete 14 days prior to your first term start date.
