Tuition & Financing

Financing Your Degree

Before applying for admission to Denver College of Nursing, we encourage applicants to explore resources available to help them finance their education.

DCN offers qualifying students several options to help cover the cost of their education:

  • Payment plans with no interest while attending school
  • Eligibility for federal financial aid programs, as determined by information submitted in the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  • Eligibility for funding through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
  • Credit-based alternative funding

Our individualized attention to each student’s needs makes applying for financial aid a simple and personalized process.

In-House Financing

You may finance your education at DCN using an in-house, no-interest payment plan that will allow you to make payments monthly as you attend the program. For specific cost information please call 303-292-0015 and ask for the financial aid office. DCN accepts all major credit cards.

Title IV Federal Financial Aid

DCN is approved by the Federal Department of Education to participate in Title IV funding programs.

Students attending DCN may be eligible to receive loans or grants through one or more financial aid programs:

  • Federal Subsidized Stafford Student Loan
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
  • Federal Work-Study Program
  • Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Student Loan
  • Federal PLUS Loan
  • Federal Pell Grant

Although every student may apply for financial aid, the amount and type that may be available will be dependent upon the financial need of the individual student. DCN uses nationally standardized procedures for determining financial need.

Note: All students must pay a portion of their tuition out of pocket using either in-house financing or credit-based alternative loan options. Please contact the financial aid office before applying for all alternative funding.
