Support and Services for On-Campus Students

Denver College of Nursing (DCN) strives to build strong communities on our campuses in Denver and Houston, and our student services department plays a vital role in helping students feel connected to their campus and the local community. Explore some of the ways the student services department makes an impact at DCN:

  • Planning and executing numerous cocurricular events and activities, including student social gatherings and National Nurses Week events
  • Coordinating new student orientation and quarterly graduation ceremonies
  • Providing dedicated student services team members at each campus location who serve as liaisons to the local Student Nurse Association (SNA) chapters
  • Assisting with in-house career fairs and external community health fairs
  • Providing and connecting students with nonacademic counseling services, including mental health referrals, access to community resources, housing and transportation advice, and child care information
