Denver College of Nursing Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for New Houston Campus

Houston West Chamber of Commerce joined campus leaders in celebrating the new campus opening with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony.

With the nursing shortage in Texas reaching record highs, Denver College of Nursing is working to expand access to the profession by opening a new nursing college in Houston. The formal ribbon cutting will occur during National Nurses Week, which recognizes the nursing profession’s impact on healthcare and honors the contributions made by nurses in history.

Denver College of Nursing in Houston is now enrolling prospective students for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) completion program. This BSN program is specifically designed for those who have already met the prerequisite program requirements or are currently working on them. The 21-month BSN program offers a personalized curriculum and small class sizes to provide students with a balance of traditional classroom instruction, small-group learning environments and hands-on laboratory experiences.
