About Denver College of Nursing

Nursing isn’t just a career; it’s a calling. Whether you’re planning to enter the field of nursing or advance in your current role, Denver College of Nursing (DCN) is here to empower you on your personal and professional path.

DCN is a private, single-purpose college with campuses in Denver and Houston, and training the next generation of nurses and nurse leaders is what we do. We offer academically rigorous on-campus and online programs that are dedicated to nursing alone. We seek to fulfill our mission as nurse educators by providing the following:

We don’t stop with skill development. As a student, you’ll also have access to leadership and service learning opportunities, so you can make an impact in the many communities DCN serves locally, nationally, and globally.

Our nursing-centric academic environment offers many forms of support to help you gain and maintain momentum — even within our accelerated programs. You’ll experience this support through the following resources:

  • Individualized guidance from a dedicated student services director
  • Quarterly tutoring from our student services team
  • Direct interactions with the faculty who teach your courses
  • The community you’ll find in the cohort of nurses pursuing goals that align with your own

Whatever you feel called to do, DCN can help equip you with the tools you need to realize your full potential as a nurse. Join us for an educational journey that honors your aspirations, fosters your inner strength, and enriches your nursing practice. We invite you to transform your passion for care into a powerful force for change.
